Premier Agency Claims Training
Everything a P&C agent needs to know to prepare customers for a claim and keep them afterwards
When an insurance agent sells an insurance policy, that agent is selling a promise – a pact – that if something happens, the company will have that customer’s back.
It is a pact that neither the agent nor the customer has any desire to test.
But it is tested, and the agent will see such tests over and over again in the course of a career. But sadly, most agents do not have any idea of what the claims process entails, how things are handled, or what an agent can do to help or harm that process.
More importantly still, most agents do not know how to prepare both the agency and the customer for a claim.
This course provides a comprehensive look at handling claims as a P&C agent – from selling the policy to the closing of a claim. Our goals will be to:
- Reduce E&O exposure
- Better match customers with coverages
- Increase customer satisfaction and therefore retention
- Make more money by retaining customers and increasing premium
This course is hosted by Paul Lytle. Paul was an adjuster for several years, working claims for several states in that time. He finally became an Agent Advocate in Houston, helping area agents with coverage questions and claims issues, before opening his own agency. Because he has worked both sides of the industry, he has become a trusted voice in claims and coverage issues.
